inSSIDer is a free program that lets you detect nearby wireless networks and show information on each network. The software runs on Windows Vista and Windows XP.
InSSIDer Some features are:
* Use the native API Wi-Fi
* Brings together the network by MAC address, SSID, Channel, RSSI and last seen.
* Compatible with most GPS devices
* It allows you to inspect your wireless network and nearby networks for errors in access points
* Check the signal strength received
* Filter access point
* Allows you to highlight the access point in areas with high concentration of wireless networks
* Export the data to a KML file to view in Google Earth
